Re: Voice over radio jingle - increase jingle sing-out level
Use the Amplify effect (Effect menu) to increase the volume of all of track 2 (the jingle). Just use the default setting in the Amplify effect for this. The track will now be too loud, so use the Envelope Tool to reduce the level as required: http://manual.audacityteam.org/manual/help/manual/man/env...

Re: Distortion but no clipping showing

Re: Sample Printer
Can the "Alternative Lines" layout append L or R after the value, or separate the pair values with a space? Can we get some user feedback on that? Yes it can be done (easily). How will users use the data? Simple alternation without additional characters may be better for further analysis....

Re: Sample Printer
if I have e.g 19.65 seconds of audio at 44100 Hz I really don't want to start making those calculations to ensure I get the entire selection. Assuming that the tracks are the same sample rate as the project rate, look in the Selection Toolbar. I don't know what the maximum is until I read the Help ...

Re: Audacity not recognizing vst plugins
Audacity has only limited support for VST effects. Not all effects are supported, but you do need to follow the instructions carefully.
Did you tell Audacity to rescan the effects? http://manual.audacityteam.org/manual/h ... ST_Effects

Re: Presonus Board Comaptible with audacity?
Which channels are you using on the Presonus?
In the system sound settings, how many channels are shown?
Are you able to record with the Pesonus Capture™ recording software?

Re: multiple export of tracks to another software for better
To trim audio from before time zero you must use "Home -> shift+End" (or "End -> shift+Home"). It will not work if you select all with "Ctrl+A" because "Select All" will include the sound that is behind time=0. Before pressing Ctrl+T look at the "Time Lin...
