From looking at the Mustang II feature list (http://www.fender.com/en-GB/products/mu ... atures.php) the USB connectivity appears to be for parameter control, not an audio interface.Moby wrote:I can't get Audacity to 'see' my Mustang II amp through the USB interface.

It IS possible to fry a sound card's input circuitry with too high a level, though usually such damage, if it occurred, would be fatal (either no signal at all, or extremely damaged).

You may be able to convert the .MTS files to a supported format (such as WAV) using VLC http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html
