Re: ringmod.ny help?
What's your question? Is it that you can't get ringmod.ny to work, or that you can get it to work but it does not sound like you want it to sound? If the problem is that it is not producing the effect that you want, please post either a short sample, or a link to a short sample of the type of effect...

Re: How to display time format to second-format?
Do you mean in "Timer Record"?
The time format there is not adjustable.

Re: Professional sounding fade out.
Please fix the typo Done. I like how it sounds too but I hardly think Audacity should have three fade-outs. I think you would have to argue for it to replace "Cross Fade Out" and then you *would* need an analogous "Cross Fade In" with the pro shape. Only two "below the line...

Re: VST Plug-ins
I'm not suggesting that you need a big budget to do that, but if you have some budget it will certainly help. Would around $70 be out of the question?bringe wrote: I was really wanting to use my own drums to give it a live sound

Re: VST Plugin Folder
Sorry I don't know how to do that but perhaps one of the Windows guys can help. What I was suggestion is that if you do manage to redirect Audacity to a folder with 200 VST plug-ins then there is a pretty good (bad) chance that one or more of them will stop Audacity from opening and then you will ne...

Re: Audacity can't start with audiophile usb sound card
I'm not an expert with this, but I suspect there is a problem with your sound card drivers not being loaded properly. Perhaps something in tis topic will be relevant: http://forums.opensuse.org/english/get- ... nized.html

Re: Possible to Compress/Limit Input Signal?
Even if there is it would be of limited use. Any software compressor can only compress the signal after it has been digitised, so in terms of overload protection it offers no advantages over setting the recording level low enough to handle the loudest peaks and then applying a compressor/limiter whe...

Re: File Export with Full Meta Data?
FYI: TagLib TagLib Audio Meta-Data Library As I said (trying to be helpful) Another good media with very good metadata support is VLC http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html (uses TagLib) I don't think there are many other Windows applications that use TagLib, but if you find one with good library m...
