Congratulations :P

The link that waxcylinder posted should help with your other question, but feel free to post if you get stuck.
By the way, which program did you end up using for burning the CD?

Re: Default Values

I suspect that 2 would be the simpler to implement, but still a fair amount of work (due to the number of: effects/generators/analysers/etc). Not all of the effects/generators/analysers need such a feature: Amplify always goes to default, as does Normalize, Wah Wah and many others, so really we are...

You can use the Ctrl+R shortcut if you use "Normalize" rather than "Amplify" http://manual.audacityteam.org/manual/h ... alize.html

Re: Feature Request: On opening older files

I'm not sure that Audacity 2.x would be able to do that. It's not necessarily a job that a donkey can do ;) In order to be able to copy a project, Audacity needs to know where all of the parts of the project are. It needs to know where the _data folder is (which should be in the same folder as the ....

Re: Export mp3

You will need to give more information about what you are doing and what is happening. Which tracks are missing? How are you exporting? Are the "tracks" in one Audacity "Track" or on multiple Audacity Tracks? Are you using "Export Multiple"? We can't see your machine so...

Re: Gaps (dropouts) during recording audio stream

I am listening to the stream while it is happening. That is how I pick it up. It sounds like your getting intermittent glitches in the Internet stream, which could be just about anything, including network congestion, insufficient bandwidth, decoding problems, weak wi-fi connection.... If you could...

Re: Edit Meta Data; Can't clear?!

But I should be able to use the template to JUST add in title and srtist information, without it wiping out any other populated fields, yes? I don't use Metadata templates myself, and rarely use metadata at all, but yes I think that you should be able to do that. Did I give you the link to the meta...

Re: Feature Request: On opening older files

Obsolete: outdated designs that are no longer supported by the manufacturer. http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/O/obsolete.html Audacity 1.2.x has not been developed or maintained for years. I don't see any likelihood of any developers now going back to try and sort out any problems with it. This help fo...

Re: Edit Meta Data; Can't clear?!

To remove the default template, you do just clear it and set that empty template as the default. 1) Ensure that all instances of Audacity are closed. 2) Open Audacity 3) File > Metadata Editor 4) Click "Clear" 5) Click "Set Default" 6) Click "OK" 7) Close Audacity. You ...

Re: I cannot get sound from ny guitar into Audacity Help ple

seems to me Audacity is not recognising Guitar rig 4 That's correct. There is no direct signal route between Guitar Rig 4 and Audacity. It may be possible to record the output from Guitar Rig 4 if your computer supports recording from "Stereo Mix". There's some information about recording...
