I meant, make sure that Audacity is not running, shut down, completely, all Audacity windows, not just the current project window - total.

Well that will be the problem. Something has gone wrong with the computer sound system.

Are you able to roll back to a restore point from when it was all working?

In what way "not available"? Is it grayed out, or can't you find it?

You may still find it quicker/easier doing it manually, or perhaps a combination of Sound Finder and manual tweaking, but at least we know that it's not something broken.

You're using a much more "narrow band" setting, which obscures detail in the time domain.
