Yes that's possible in the future, unless Apple outlaw open source software on Mac.

Check in the Windows Sound control panel and ensure that the USB mixer is not hidden and is enabled in both the Playback and Recording tabs.

Hello, I have the exact same problem, but only with my last unfinished project, I can open my old work just fine in both Audiotonic and original Audacity. If someone could take a look I´d really appreciate it!
