Re: Lame Converter MP3
ending up with Screen Picture AUDIO CONVERTER VER. 3,2 And that is obviously not "Lame_v3.99.3_for_Windows.exe " You must be clicking on the wrong link. This is the download page: http://lame1.buanzo.com.ar/ and the correct download link is a TEXT link that says (in blue writing and under...

Re: Muted/Soloed track plays in Audacity but is not in MP3
Let's empower the user and give them control of what happens. Absolutely. That's what Preferences are for. Just to pick up on one phrase in that sentence - "...a standard mixing console" How many other devices have "Mute and Solo" buttons? OK, so there are some devices that have...

Re: Removing Envelope Control Points
Terrific, congratulations :D PGA => :ugeek: To nit-pick a couple of minor details: The plug-in is actually a "version 1" plug-in as it does not have the control features of version 2 or version 3 plug-ins and it should work in Audacity 1.2.x If the plug-in were intended for general release...

Re: Muted/Soloed track plays in Audacity but is not in MP3
I agree that the way that it currently behaves needs some attention, and even the developer that was the strongest proponent of the current system said that it needed improvement, but that does not make the current behaviour "wrong". The often misunderstood aspect of this is that in the de...

Re: No more poncing about with Audacity.
I agree that's a bug It works as described in the manual http://manual.audacityteam.org/manual/help/manual/man/multi_tool.html It's been this way for at least 7 years, and in my opinion it is a significant improvement over the old 1.2.x version that would not allow dragging a clip to a different tr...

Re: Create seamless MP3 files with no gaps
This problem is a limitation of the MP3 format. Encoder/decoder overall delay is not defined, which means there is no official provision for gapless playback. However, some encoders such as LAME can attach additional metadata that will allow players that can handle it to deliver seamless playback. h...
