Is the noise present in your original recording?
If so, could you post a short clip of a raw (unprocessed) recording in WAV or FLAC format and describe how it was recorded.
If not, at what stage does the noise appear?

Yes Audacity has Gverb, but imho it's not a particularly "good" reverb effect and is not the easiest to use.

Where is the microphone positioned relative to the guitar?
What style of guitar playing? Finger-picking classical guitar?
What sort of computer?
