Re: Decoding Full Rate GSM Encoded File
i want to know that can i use Audacity builts that are available on http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Developing_On_Windows (size 230MB) to make my own small decoder? As Koz wrote, FFMpeg is available as a standalone application and as a library for use in other programs so Audacity does not really...

Re: STRANGE recording/playback problem using Vibe turntable
When recording, sometimes the audio for vocals (and occasionally some instrumental tracks) is barely audible. It tends to happen with older discs ('50s and '60s) - more often mono ones but sometimes stereo. I think your turntable is defective. :( It sounds like something might be miswired* (like th...

Re: Cant play anything properly.
Are there any differences between the computer that you are now using and the computer that you used to record the Audacity projects?
(same hardware, same operating system, same sound card, same everything, or anything different?)

I don't think that would be possible.

Re: Is it possible to assign a layer to a specific EQ on mix
was thinking of them as layers when you put one sound file on top of another In Audacity that is done by using multiple tracks, one above the other. If you import (or record) 2 or more tracks in one Audacity project, they will produce tracks one above another that will play at the same time. Then w...

I think that the problem may be due to the version of libgtk-dev that you are using (or not).
Could you check if you have libgtk-dev installed, and if you do, which version it is.
On an up-to-date system it would probably be libgtk2.0-dev (around version 2.20).

Re: Audacity Not Recording Well
It sounds like your computer is running out of horsepower when you run Windows 7 + the game + recording with Audacity. Audacity does not make a lot of demands on the computer, but when recording, writing to disk must be readily and continuously available - the sound won't wait for the hard drive. Wi...

Re: Is it possible to assign a layer to a specific EQ on mix
I'm no sure what you mean. Audacity does not have "layers" though it does support multiple "tracks".
Are you talking about Eq on a hardware mixer? If so, could you describe in detail what your set-up is and what you are trying to do.
