A couple of things you could try: 1) See if there is a lock file (called audacity-lock-< username/ >) in "/var/tmp/audacity-< username/ >/ (< username/ > is your user name) If there is, delete it. 2) Try resetting the Audacity Preferences. To do that, delete the file audacity.cfg from ~/.audaci...
