Re: Any plugin from the LSPDA set causes a scan....

Only any of those included with the package. Included with which package? I copied just *one* plugin (plate verb) over from somewhere else What is the full name of that file and where did it come from? because a plugin name gives an error saying 'should be ='. Where do you see that error? What is t...

Re: Professional sounding fade out.

Novice users could easily knock the sliders without any understanding of how to "reset" them, so lose any "easy" way to make a fade to/from silence I think that is a very minor issue - certainly a lot less of an issue than accidentally knocking a control in any of the built-in e...

Re: Working on multiple projects simultaneously

You can "edit" in one project while recording in another, but if you use playback (or record) in the project that you are working on then recording will stop in the other project. As I suspect you will need to be able to hear what you are editing, this is not going to work. Realistically y...

Could you describe in what way you wish to use Audacity on a network computer. Writing audio data across a network in real time is very prone to drop-outs and other data errors.

Re: Help with recording radio

This screen should tell you what your sound card is: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Mixer ... es#vistacp

I'm assuming that you are using some version of Windows, though I don't think that you've actually said.

Re: Help with recording radio

when I look through my sound devices I cant find the "mono mix"(the name of the device according to the wiki). I think the Audacity documentation mostly refers to "Stereo Mix". This is the first choice, if your computer has it. It may be hidden. See here for how to "un-hide...

Re: Sound on Vision in a .WAV File

Can you reproduce the problem at will, or is it just that one recording?

Re: Sound on Vision in a .WAV File

That is very strange distortion. I don't think it can be fixed.
Does the Zoom Q2HD record onto a flash card?
Have you tried changing the flash card? (preferably for a high quality, high speed flash card)

Re: trim 15 sec of at the end of multiple files

Glad we've solved your problem. You are asking me were to expose the link to Nyquists Plug-ins. For me it’s obviously, it should go on the main page! What are you referring to as the "Main Page"? The main page for the Audacity web site is: http://audacityteam.org/ This site is the "ho...

Re: Professional sounding fade out.

This one viewtopic.php?p=192917#p192917 . I'm looking at this one and "Adjustable-Fade-v25-GUI" side by side. It's quite a bit of work to code these up as fully functional plug-ins so I'd prefer to not do that for both when one will not be used. http://forum.audacityteam.org/download/file...
