Prices start at around $50, although they go up to thousands.

Yes, the "T-Pain" effect was interesting to hear "once". ;)

Re: Any plugin from the LSPDA set causes a scan....

Despite missing one letter in the acronym, I thought it was obvious which package, as I put it in the title. The package ya all have for download. Are there any others? There are hundreds of other LADSPA plug-ins. By default the "set of over 90 LADSPA plug-ins" from the Audacity web site ...

Re: Professional sounding fade out.

perversely the single box might actually raise requests for multiple pairs of points "Text Envelope..." ? I see a greater degree of issue than you do with not having a preset (that disables the other controls). From the power user point of view, a preset control that was just "bolted...

Please give an actual step-by-step example. We can't see what you are doing.

Sorry, I don't quite follow. Could you describe your current work flow, including when, how and what text you put into the labels.

Re: Professional sounding fade out.

Novice users could easily knock the sliders without any understanding of how to "reset" them, so lose any "easy" way to make a fade to/from silence Power users would lose the feature of being able to retain "custom" slider settings while still being able to do a preset...

Re: Track label numbering offset

You could enter the numbers that you require in the actual labels, then when you Export Multiple select the option to "Use Label/Track Name".

Re: Can't access data files now after renaming project

Change the names of the .AUP file and the _data folder back to their original name. If you don't remember the original name, post the .AUP file as an attachment to your reply (see below the message compose box for adding attachments). The correct way to change the name of an Audacity project is to o...

Re: New to audacity help

Yes Audacity can do this. The first job is to find where those audio files actually are. The songs displayed in iTunes are like a catalogue - it's a list of all of your music files, not the actual files. I don't use iTunes but I expect that you can probably right click on the files or something like...
