Re: Beat Per Minute labels

Subdividing beats has been added as an option in this version.
The sub-divisions are always an exact fraction of the beat length regardless of "swing", "randomization" or tempo change.

Re: Nearest Neighbor Upsampling

"Nearest Neighbour" up-sampling could be done using Nyquist and Audacity, but why would you want to? The sound quality of this method is terrible compared to other methods. If this is only as an academic exercise, then I can show you a simple but very slow way of doing it. If this is inten...

Re: CLICKS AND POPS

when i use the "find zero crossings" under "file, I presume that you mean: "find zero crossing" under "Edit". The easiest way to see what "Find Zero Crossings" does, is to zoom in close on a mono track. Here is a very short selection on a mono track. Not...

Re: low vilume recording

It's a very bad idea to post your e-mail address on a public forum as spammers trawl the Internet looking for people to send spam to. Import the original file (File menu > Import > Audio) You can boost the bass by using the "Bass Boost" effect. (Try it on a short section first before apply...

Re: "851 blocks missing" donnée audio manquante

Needless to say I've been working on this project for months... and I bet it's your one and only copy. I happened to rename my project, so when I realised it wouldn't open up the file anymore I set back its original name. Do you have both the .AUP file and the _data folder? If you do, open the .AUP...

Re: recarding split channels (&vice verse)

"Edit > Duplicate" Then click on the name of the upper track and from the drop down menu select "Make stereo track". Note that mono tracks can be panned and you can have a mix of mono and stereo tracks in a project, so about the only real reason for having making a mono track int...

Re: Using VST plugins

Well it won't do real time analysis (which looks to be the main purpose of the plug-in), because Audacity does not do real time processing. I don't want to try installing it myself as only a demo is available without cost and I don't know how cleanly it will uninstall. Have you tried the Audacity &q...

Check that you don't have a faulty lead or connector.
If that is not the problem, please provide the information that Koz asked for, plus any additional information that you think may help us to help you.

AGC - Automatic Gain Control

Audacity is not able to apply effects in real time while recording, but this plug-in provides an equivalent to AGC (Automatic Gain Control) when applied after recording. The effect is similar to the AGC found on pocket recorders, camcorders and similar devices. Note: It does not repair clipped audio...
