Re: Normalizing 10 minute stereo track pair causes freeze
the about says 2.0.2!!! That's a good start. Which version of Windows? How big is your hard drive and how much free space does it have? What settings are you using in the Normalize effect? Does the problem occur with one particular project or with any Audacity project? Did you record the audio or i...

Re: What effect is this?
I presume that you are using Antares Auto-tune? If so, you may be better asking on their forum - I don't use Antares Auto-tune because it does not support my operating system. I'm not even sure if Antares Auto-tune supports MIDI modulation at all but if it does, then to achieve that effect you still...

Re: Separated Track Bleedover
The problem may be in your hardware. To test, try this: 1) Generate a tone, Click Track or any other mono track. 2) Click on the track name and from the drop-down menu set the track to either "Left Channel" or "Right Channel". 3) Play the track If you are getting any bleedover at...

Re: MetaData Missing from WAV files
Do either of you know what software does support metadata for .WAV files? Apart from Audacity, not much at all. If you want a high quality "lossless" format with metadata, try FLAC or AIFF. Windows Media Player does not support FLAC, but support can be added by installing "opencodecs...

Re: Audacity, OpenSUSE 12.2 and Lexicon Alpha
The situation is quite strange for me: if I use the big Audio to buffer value, everything works. If I use small value - everything works. If I use near-default value, sound is periodically lost. That seems pretty strange to me too. Increasing the buffer size to avoid gaps in the audio makes sense, ...

Re: How to split a long recording
This looks a very good and comprehensive piece of software, just daunting at first because of the many options and the need to become familiar with the language. I understand what you mean - there is always a "learning curve" when starting with a new piece of software. If you have a look ...
