Oh, right - I misunderstood what you meant. In that case I don't have a clue, it sounds very weird.pshute wrote:The cursor doesn't ever move in relation to the track time it was on before.
It doesn't happen with AutoKey on Linux, but I guess that doesn't help you.

Re: AutoHotKey to add a label (Windows)
I had a word with a college that does some scripting stuff, but it turns out that he does not use AutoHotKeys but some other scripting tools. Based on your first post he suggested that AutoHotKeys may be sending a spurious {HOME} along with the {ENTER}. Your second post gives me an idea.... Correcti...

Re: Tools Menu
A particularity of "Type utility" Nyq plug-ins should be that they are only invoked once, no matter how many audio-tracks are selected. Would that be a natural consequence of "not requiring an audio track"? Certainly for the plug-ins mentioned in the first post, this behaviour w...

Re: A simple plugin to add a label
I'm afraid I can't help with AutoHotKey as I've not used it in years and I'm not even using Windows.

Re: audacity 2.0 / Ubuntu (bodhi) /Mackie ProFX8 mixer
Let's see if we can get some basic recording functionality to start with. Dell Studio Hybrid Desktop 140G Realtek ALC888 HD Audio Driver A02 Does that have a "line level" input or just a mic input? I'm hoping that it does have a "line in". To date, have you been able to record an...

Tools Menu
There are two parts to this feature request. The second part is dependent on the first. Part 1 A "Tools" menu. Way back in the history of Audacity there was one, but it was removed, presumably because it was underpopulated. "Tools" would include features and plug-ins that: Do not...

Ah good, you have Synaptic as well - that makes things easier. Install "pavucontrol" (Pulse Audio Volume Control) then I think we are ready to get started. What sort of sound card do you have? I presume that you want to record the guitar with a microphone? What sort of microphone do you ha...
