Re: Running a plug-in once only
Yes I know the code is not very practical as is. It was intended just as a demonstration of ways to return one result from multiple selected tracks. Something a little more practical: ;nyquist plug-in ;version 3 ;type process ;name "Cross-over split..." ;info "Select one mono audio tr...

Re: Nyquist wrapper(?)
Nyquist is available as a standalone application (see here: http://audacityteam.org/help/nyquist) Nyquist plug-ins are plain text scripts that run in the Nyquist programming language. Audacity includes a slightly cut down version of Nyquist. For Nyquist scripts to run in another application, that ap...

Select the part that you want to repeat http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/au ... ction.html
Then use "Effect menu > Repeat" (about the 22nd item in the list).
If you want to repeat the section once, enter "1" as the number of repeats and click "OK".

Re: Sound quality obtained using built-in laptop mic.
Finding a book publisher sounds as difficult as finding a music publisher. Those that have the distribution clout are only interested in already successful artists. Self publishing is always an option, but the difficulty is getting the necessary "exposure". The Internet has opened up many ...

I then placed the cursor on one of the waves in the top box and did the Ctrl + F and did the same in the bottom wave box and it never zoomed out. Did you "Left Click" on the waveform? Perhaps you are already zoomed out to show the entire project. See here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o...

Re: Behringer UCA202 High Pitched Noise
Even when I isolate everything but the Mackie (RCA) to UCA202 (USB) to PC with no other cables and no headphone or monitors I'm still hearing the noise upon playback. If you disconnect the Mackie, does the problem not happen? Is this a fairly low level (but irritating) noise? If the Mackie and the ...

Re: Running a plug-in once only
(although I didn't have the intention to start a whole thread about the subject in the first place). No, but it's an interesting idea  Here is a little plug-in that mixes multiple mono tracks down to an empty (or silent) track. Unfortunately there are difficulties in attaching a sound to *SCR...

Re: Can you recommend websites good for Active Speaker revie
I know you said prob wont find a Wireless model, and I guess not everyone would want extra cost of a wireless option builtin. It's as much about sound quality as cost. There are various wireless technologies available, ranging in price from $25 or so up to thousands, but even the high end systems a...

Re: Exporting WMV files
I think that Pinacle Studio can import and export WAV files.
If you can find out how to do that, then you can:

- Export the audio from Pinacle Studio as a WAV file,
