Re: Frequency listener

"Preview" is only available for "Generate" and "Process" type plug-ins, and only available for plug-ins that have a GUI. I'm not entirely certain what you are trying to do. Do you want an effect that can play a sine tone at the "spectral" centre frequency when...

Re: fill track with paste

Up-vote for " Repeat " effect. Once you have a full bar, you can repeat the bar to make a phrase, then repeat the phrase, and so on. One thing to watch out for is that digital audio works in "samples" (typically 44100 samples per second). If you have a tempo of say 120 bpm, that'...

Does your computer's CPU have SSE2 ?

If it does, you may be able to go as high as Audacity 2.1.3. I think that was the last version to officially support Windows XP.

Re: Multiple choice board to create markers

Not unless you want to get heavily into macro code. It is "possible" to create labels with the frequency data, but it is lengthy and complex. Alternatively there's this "hack". The labels will look weird when you create them, and they don't select frequencies, but you can convert...

Re: How was this sound effect achieved?

(tick "version 3 syntax" box) A little tip: You can force the Nyquist Prompt to use the more modern syntax (version 3 or later) by adding this line of the code: ;version 4 (You could also use ";version 3" but you may as well enable all new features). Also, just as a "heads ...

Is the instrument signal level light on the Solo illuminating?
Have you checked your guitar, battery and lead by playing through an amp?
