What sort of input device are you trying to record from? A microphone plugged into your computer sound card?
Check in the Windows Sound Control Panel to see if the device that you wish to record from is enabled.

The problem is that for some of the actions such as "Labelled Regions > Split" we probably do want to include point labels.
I'll raise this with the developers and see how they want to handle it.

Select the part that you want to loop.
From the Effect menu select "Repeat" (about 20 places down the list).
Set the number of times to repeat (loop) then press OK.
Export from "File menu > Export".
