Re: Pro-grammable fade
3) I am unclear as to wheteher or not I get exactly the same effect out of the box as the old Pro-Fade. It is " very similar". I will be experimenting with tweaks to the "Pro Fade Out" prior to release. The original version that I posted is imho a good fade and remains as the be...

What audio settings do you have in Audacity?
("Edit menu > Preferences > Devices" and "Edit Preferences > Quality")
Does Windows Media Player play correctly through the Firepod?

Re: Musical Fade-In effect
More options are planned for the configuration tool. Unfortunately Robert's preview method doe not work properly on Linux (bug 570). If the configuration tool produces a waveform to "illustrate" the curve type then it cannot display a message to confirm what settings have been set or where...

Do you know what frequencies you want to remove? There is a "band stop" filter here that can remove a frequency band: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Nyquist_Effect_Plug-ins#Band_Stop_Filter Instructions for how to install: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Download_Nyquist_Plug-ins#Inst...

ITU-R 468 weighting would be a lot more difficult to implement than A-weighting because it also takes into account dynamics: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ITU-R_468_noise_weighting

Amplify by -24 dB (minus 24)
