Where was the project saved?

Do you recall what you were doing when Audacity crashed the first time?

Which version of Audacity are you using? (Look in "Audacity menu > About Audacity".)

Perhaps "Paste Special" should be a built-in command rather than a plug-in? There do seem to be a lot of use cases where it is exceptionally useful.
