Most PCs are "blessed" with sound cards that are mediocre or worse, hence the range of after market sound card upgrades that are available,

It looks like they are using different drivers to you.
Did you receive an installation disk with the device or it using the default Windows drivers?

Why does the image in your last post show "Line In USB Audio Device", whereas the image in this post shows "Line 3 Line Streamer +"

The "Levels" slider is set to 0.0 (silence = no sound).

He has noticed that the problem s also affects other unit generators, e.g. osc.c The fix that he proposes to apply is to generate code to test terminate_cnt is valid. This will catch more errors and can return an error message rather than simply truncatin...
