Re: USB Guitar Cable Link not working with Audacity
Connect the USB cable before you launch Audacity. Ensure that the USB cable is selected as the recording input, but your normal sound card must be selected as the playback output. (see: Device Toolbar ) If there is still a problem, try changing the "host" option to the other one (Direct So...

Re: No input device showing
To record sounds that are playing on the computer with Audacity you need to select "Stereo Mix" as the recording input. Not all PCs have a "Stereo Mix" option. If your computer does not have a Stereo Mix option then you will need to use a workaround, such as using Sound Leech. Se...

Re: me again- Losing sound qaulity when exporting to MP3
That is the part that is causing the mix to be quiet - "Amplify" will not allow you to push those above 0 dB. If you can find a suitable sound to replace those that does not have such huge spikes then you will be able to amplify the rest much more. For a megaphone type effect, try a combin...

Re: Antares Autotune
The 1.3.x series of Audacity is now discontinued, The current version of Audacity is 2,0.2 http://audacityteam.org/download/
The MIDI features in Antares Autotune are not supported in any version of Audacity.
Basic functionality may work - why don't you try their demo version?

Re: Audacity not recording audio coming out of speakers
Have a look here to see if it is possible to enable "Stereo Mix" on your computer: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Mixer ... es#vistacp
If it is not possible, look a bit higher up the page (here: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Mixer ... _Issues#cp) for possible workarounds.

Re: me again- Losing sound qaulity when exporting to MP3
Those big spikes at just after 1 minute and around 1:30 are close to 0 dB and so prevent the Amplify effect from making the track louder without clipping those spikes. What you could do is to use a "limiter" to limit those spikes to say -6 dB, which would then allow the track to be amplifi...
