Please add the following as feature requests, then the topic can be moved to the Nyquist board for eventual inclusion in a wiki article. A "Tools" menu for features and plug-ins that do not generate audio and do not require an audio selection. See here for examples: http://forum.audacityte...

1) Select the audio that you want to insert
2) Edit menu > Remove Audio > Cut (Ctrl + X).
3) Click on the audio track at the point that you want to insert the audio
4) Edit > Paste (Ctrl + V)

Try resetting the Audacity preferences by reinstalling and selecting the option to reset preferences.

Record or download the music track first, and have that as one track in Audacity, then record with your microphone to produce a second track (See here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/tu ... rdubs.html)

Should there be anything in the Temp folder? Other than the file I moved, it's empty. If the project has not been saved, there should be all of the audio data. If the project has been saved, it would normally be empty and the audio data would be in the project _data folder. (see here: http://manual...
