Re: Opened Saved Project, but There's no Sound
Audacity projects currently have a maximum size of about 13 hours when the sample rate is 44.1 kHz. As it says in the Release Notes : Headline issues Large Projects Projects with more than 2^31 samples (just over 13.5 hours at 44100 Hz) will not re-open correctly. Higher sample rates mean proportion...

Try these settings with both Host = MME and Host = Direct Sound:
Audacity to 44100 / 32 bit (float)
Windows Sound: 44100Hz / 1 channel / 16bit

Re: Joining wav files
If you are only dealing with a few files it is probably easiest to import all of the files, then use the Time Shift tool to move the tracks end to end. If you are dealing with a lot of files (dozens or hundreds) then it may be quicker to set up a batch script to use a command line audio editor such ...

Re: input volume doesn't work
3. I launched the programme. On the top of the screen there is a picture of microphone (input volume). I wanted to adjust input volume to zero (max to the left). But it didn't work as the button is inactive (grey). And it is written there: "Input Volume (Unavailable; use system mixer)". T...

Re: Beat is slipping away..
I've been trying to beat match 2 tracks (with the same BPM and rhythm), but although they match at the beginning of the track, within 20 seconds qpprox. the "kicks" of one track start kicking in delay (which gets longer as the track continues). That sounds like the 2 tracks are not quite ...
