Re: Frequency analysis shows results that are way off
"Plot Spectrum" uses FFT analysis. The accuracy of FFT analysis depends on the FFT "Size" parameter. For the most accurate frequency reading, set the "Size" parameter as large as possible for the selection. If the selection is very short you may not be able to use the m...

Re: Can't Open Audacity
Error 0xc0000096 usually indicates a damaged or faulty system file. First thing to do is to run a full system virus scan - preferably a boot time scan that is also able to detect rootkit virus. If that comes up clean, try restoring to a point before the crash occurred. When the problem is resolved, ...

Re: Exporting multiple channels doesn't work
Because Skype is mono, the two "your voice" tracks should be identical so you can just delete one of them. (look and listen carefully to ensure that they are identical - they should be). The same for "their voice". When you have 2 tracks, click on the name of the upper track, and...

Re: Export Multiple – normalize each track on export
but if one has 15 or 30 minutes of LP recorded then broken into 10 or 15 label-separated tracks it is very tedious to select each labeled section individually and normalize them one at a time. Personally, I am unlikely to want to do that. If it is a well produced album, the relative loudness of eac...

Re: Exporting multiple channels doesn't work
Your audio guy might prefer mono or stereo tracks - I would. Ask him.
You can export specific tracks by muting the ones that you don't want in the exported mix.

Re: Exporting multiple limited by file size?
Check that you have not used punctuation marks in the label text of any of those last labels. In particular, slashes and colons can cause problems, but it is safest to avoid any non-standard characters (general advice for compatibility is to use numbers, letters, hyphen and underscore only).
