Re: Can't Open File

The project has track names that include characters that are not supported by old versions of Audacity. Try upgrading to the current version of Audacity which is available here: http://audacityteam.org/download/

Re: need help in real time VST effects

Audacity does not support ASIO unless you build it yourself with ASIO support (http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/ASIO_Audio_Interface). I'm not sure if Audacity currently supports Jack on Windows. I'm also not sure how Jack integrates with the Windows sound system. I know that one of the Audacity de...

Re: why arepairs of damaged audio restricted to 128 samples

OK, Gale, so there is an almost cubic relation between repairlen and processing time, due to the use of matrices. However there is no need to restrict the repairlen to a value being a power of 2: e.g. 200 would do also! If the relationship is cubic, then increasing the number of samples from 128 to...

Re: How to cut out set interval?

Zoom in so that you can precisely click at the place where you want to start the deletion.
Set the duration that you want to delete in the Selection Toolbar.
Then press the Del key.

Re: Refresh interval during play, and setting precise scales

For maximum smoothness, assuming that your computer and screen capture program are capable of doing it, set the capture rate to the same as the screen refresh rate.
