Re: Installing Audacity

Please don't keep starting new topics about the same question.

Have you tried following the instructions that Gale posted the link to? If you have and you still have problems, please describe clearly how far you have got and what specifically you need help with.

Re: RECORDING AUDIO CD FROM WAV FILE

Check that Windows Media Player is set to create "audio CDs" and not "data CDs".
Personally, I'd suggest that you try a better CD burning program, such as CDBurnerXP http://cdburnerxp.se/en/home

Why only "barely hear"?
Do you have the "tape out" from the mixer plugged into the "Input" of the UCA-222, and do you have the headphone volume turned up on the UCA-222?

Re: Analyzing DC Offset

from an email I sent you on 24 December Sorry Edgar - I was off the radar for a few days over Christmas and missed it. What has happened there is that someone has taken a recording that has significant (positive) DC offset, faded out the ends, and added a bit of silence to the ends. When the offset...

Re: problem with headphone volume whilst recording?

yes i have also tried a pair of sony mdr v700 headphones but it makes no difference That's not what I was going to suggest, What I was going to suggest is that you plug a pair of headphones into the UCA-222 so that you can monitor the signal that is going into the UCA-222. Try it and let me know wh...
