Could you post a short sample in WAV or FLAC format - the compression on YouTube does too much damage to see what is going on. There is an "upload attachment" link below the message composing box.

This came up once before on the forum. Audacity is now more accurate than the old 1.2.x version, but the greatest precision in the Selection Toolbar is in "samples" rather than fractions of a second. The other teacher thought it was a bit too complicated to require that the students divide...

The manual is included in the standard Windows "installer" version.
It has been left out of the ZIP version so as to make that download a lot smaller.

It appears to be a component for Foobar2000, but on their free downloads page it says:
"This version has an expiration date set to 31 August 2011"

Cassettes for home recording are usually marked as "C60" or "C90" or similar. The number refers to the total playing time in minutes. Commercial pre-recorded cassette sometimes have track times listed, but even if they don't it is very rare for a pre-recorded cassette to be over ...
