The ART manual is available here: http://artproaudio.com/discontinued_pro ... o_plus_v2/

Re: Multi-channel Recording in Audacity

Will multi-device recording eventually become an Audacity feature? It is possible to record from multiple devices simultaneously with Audacity by using a "virtual" device between Audacity and the real hardware devices. On Mac OS X this can be done by creating an "aggregate device&quo...

Re: Clip Fix only fixes part of the signal?

I'm having a similar problem as described above, except that it's with the right track (2). But otherwise same thing: The clips on the bottom half aren't being reconstructed. It seems that the Nyquist Prompt code you recommend should be different for my situation, but I'm not sure how. There is now...

Re: Clipped audio at -4db?

Elsewhere (on this forum, I think) I've read it's crazy recording vinyl at that rate, and should be 96khz, then downsampled for mp3/CD. I doubt that you have read that on this forum without it being strongly challenged. 44100 or 48000 Hz sample rate are perfectly adequate for recording vinyl and in...

Re: Possible noise issue in EQ A2.0.3

If the music for a moment is defined by silence then what is the need of decay The "ringing" is not a design feature, it is just what happens when a filter with a high slope is applied at a jump discontinuity. It's known as the Gibbs phenomenon http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gibbs_phenomeno...

If it is possible to do so (and I would expect that to be possible), then I'd agree that Audacity should.

Re: Newbie asks - How to save a 16-44 WAVE file?

Check that the project rate is set to 44100 (lower left corner of main Audacity windows). Avoid using unusual characters in the file name (try calling it "test") Don't add a file extension - Audacity will automatically add ".wav" to the file name. Don't use any dots (full stop / ...
