Re: Effect proposal for easier audio stitching

I've done some experimental work with plug-ins to assist with crossfading, including this topic: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic ... 49#p187849

Re: Muted audio from track 1 shows up while recording track

It sounds like you have a signal routing problem with either the mixer or the wiring. Probably time to dig out the Yamaha manual.

You can mute a track in Audacity so that it does not play by clicking the track mute button: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/au ... .html#mute

Re: How do I send click track to drummer's phones?

Could you describe your current set-up.
Are you using a mixing desk?
How are the speaker(s) connected to the computer?
How are the drummers headphones connected?
Anything else to give me a clear picture of your set-up?

Re: Rename multiple tracks at once

How about recording them all on one track, then adding labels for each part (which will become separate files), then use Export Multiple and take the file names from the Labels (see here for a similar procedure: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Spli ... ate_tracks)

Re: 32 bit или 16 bit ?

Sorry I don't speak Russian.

Leave it as "32 bit float". This is much better for audio processing. The track will automatically be converted to 16 bit when you Export as a 16 bit format file.

Perhaps "Export Multiple" can be used: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/ex ... tiple.html

Re: How do I send click track to drummer's phones?

Try this as an experiment: 1) Open Audacity 2) Generate a tone (Generate menu) - make it several minutes long. 3) Click on the track name and from the drop down menu select "Left Channel". 4) Press Play. The sound should come out "only" from the left headphone/speaker because Aud...
