Re: Wrong input device list - sound broken?

(And do I need to add that I have not yet gotten any sound out of my E-MU 1212?) You need to fix that first. Don't bother trying to get Audacity working until your sound card is working properly as you are unlikely to have any success, just waste a lot of time, effort and frustration. Do you have a...

Re: Export to AAC stops after 6 tracks

Are you doing Export Multiple based on labels? If so, check the text in the labels. Do not use any special characters in the labels as these may not be valid as file names. In particular, avoid using the "slash" (/) character. Safest to stick with letters and numbers. If you are using Expo...

Re: Record TV music (sirius channels) to laptop

The problem is not the software, it's the physical connection between the TV and the computer. Just backtracking a bit. You wrote:

"I recorded wav file on my samsung galaxy s2 . use auto call recorder"

Did that work? Do you have a recording on your 'phone that plays back on your 'phone?

To set the output (playback) device in Audacity, look in the Device Toolbar.

Re: wav file recorded with voice downlink not working

You appear to have a perfectly valid WAV format recording of silence.
I'd guess that the problem is with the "auto call recorder". I presume that the recording plays as silence in any other program?

Re: Changing the tempo without changing the pigch.

In the effect menu there is an effect called "Change Tempo". The sound quality of this effect is not great, but probably good enough for learning a song. Some things that you may find useful: There are a number of resources specifically for blind Audacity users: http://wiki.audacityteam.or...
