Re: MP3 Exports in a Chain
Set the default project rate to 24000 (Edit menu > Preferences > Quality). Close and restart Audacity to check that the setting has taken effect (look in the bottom left corner of the main Audacity window and you should see that the "Project Rate" is 24000.) You should now be able to run t...

Re: Freeze OS not work button reboot
I cannot reproduce this problem so we will need to narrow it down step by step. Which Linux distribution are you using? Which version of Audacity are you using (look in the "Help menu > About Audacity"). How did you install Audacity? Are you able to record with arecord For example, if you ...

Re: Problem with continuous recording
Some sound cards have their own control panel. Look for an icon near the time/date. If not there, look in the Windows Control Panel for an icon for the sound card.

Re: Attempting to Record LFN.. Help!
I think we're out of ideas. The EXM8000 microphone is good down to about 15 Hz, so if there is any loud sound above 15 Hz then it should be picked up quite clearly by that microphone without the need for any processing. Sorry but I can see no physical explanation for why your repeated attempts to re...

Re: Need help with Gverb -- Making a Siren Effect
Is this the sort of thing you're after? test.flac I made a duplicate copy of your siren sound, then use the Equalization effect to roll-off some of the treble on both the original and duplicate tracks, but more so on the duplicate. Then applied this "Pseudo Stereo" effect to the duplicate ...
