@Okamiterasu,
What exactly do you mean?
What are you trying to do?
Have you used Audacity before? Do you have Audacity installed? If so, which version of Audacity and which version of Windows?

Re: Could Not Open Mp3 Encoding Library
Is there a limit to the number of files in the plugins folder? I I don't think so. At one point I had well over 200 plug-ins installed with no problem. I have done this one by one, scanning for VST each time I open Audacity. Files left that keep causing the MP3 error are the following: surround_enc...

Re: Append-Record and stop-and-set-cursor confuse Undo
That's not good. A simpler way to reproduce the problem:
1) Start recording.
2) Stop playback with stop-and-set-cursor (default: shift+A)
3) Undo record - the recording is not undone.

Re: Could Not Open Mp3 Encoding Library
When using "external program" export, you can add any command-line options to the export command. There is a full list of command-line options for LAME here: http://lame.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/lame/lame/doc/html/switchs.html You will see that the switch for bit-rate is "-b" f...

Pitch detection plug-in
Here's a little analysis plug-in for detecting the pitch notes. In most cases the default settings should work pretty well. The default frequency range is 100 to 2000 Hz. For detecting very low frequencies (less than a few hundred Hz) the plug-in should be set to the low frequency range (20 to 1000 ...

Re: Export WAV in chain changes bit rate
Is there any possibility to do an export in chain as 24bit wav files with the current version of audacity or any other audacity version, that does allow to include Nyquist plug-insin chain commands ? Currently the only way to export in 24 bit is to export as FLAC. The FLAC options are not available...

Re: Making Dance Mix CD
Excellent. Now we start the project for real :D Open Audacity and import the first two audio clips (File menu > Import > Audio). The two tracks will import one below the other. If you press the Play button, both tracks will play at the same time . We don't want that, we want them to play one after t...

It's just a bit of weirdnessPaul L wrote:And can anyone explain why my effect sometimes causes clip boundary splits to appear?
It shouldn't do any harm, but probably it is a minor bug.
