Re: MOGG tracks -> separate wavs

-15 dB is quite a lot. There is a small theoretical loss by reducing the level that much, but probably more significant is the fact that you will probably need to push the playback volume quite high on your playback equipment, which will probably make a bit of hiss. Reducing the level by a "few...

Re: MOGG tracks -> separate wavs

Where did the MOGG file come from?
If it's not one that you made yourself and it is distorted, there is probably nothing you can do about it, so why worry?

Re: MOGG tracks -> separate wavs

If you push the sound of 9 tracks through 2 channels, it is very likely to distort. Try using the track Solo buttons to listen to one channel at a time and there should be no distortion.

Re: Sound Problems

Audacity does not "Save" audio files - the "Save" function saves an "Audacity Project" which is NOT and ordinary audio file. To create an ordinary audio file, use "File menu > Export". See here for the Export options: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/file_...

Re: MOGG tracks -> separate wavs

Audacity currently supports playback of up to 2 channels (stereo). How many channels are there in the MOGG file?
