You can cut out the low bass sounds and the high frequency hiss by using the "Telephone" preset in the Equalization effect. That's about as far as we go. If you need better than that you will probably need the help of an audio forensics professional.

You will probably be able to adjust the computer playback level using the "output slider" in the Mixer Toolbar. Alternatively, look for a speaker icon near the time/date (bottom right corner of the Desktop).
