Is it out of sync all the way through, or does it gradually drift out of sync?

Re: Incorrect Cables?
According to the T520 manual, it has a "3.5mm 4-pole Combo audio jack", and then goes on to say:Houston85 wrote:T520 ThinkPad (Lenovo)

Re: Newbie need help
Shouldn't both file match bit for bit ? Not necessarily. If you want to import uncompressed audio (such as WAV or AIFF format), apply basic Cut/Delete/Paste type edits only (no processing) and export in the same bit format as the original (probably 16 bit) and at the same sample rate (probably 4410...

AM and FM Tone Generators
A couple of tone generators - one of which generates "Amplitude Modulated" tones, the other generates "Frequency Modulated" tones. Both generators are based on the same code, and use high quality wave-table synthesis to generate alias free waveforms, with a choice of Sine, Square...

Re: Correcting wrong recording length
If you have a question, please start a new topic rather than adding you question to the end of an old topic (particularly as the topic that you posted to was marked "solved", so you are very lucky to get a reply at all). I was able to slow down the background noise on a recording, How did ...

Re: Nyquist prompts for AM and FM
Amplitude modulation is a simple "multiplication" function, like a "tremolo" effect. There is the "signal" that you want to modulate, and the "modulation wave". The "modulation wave" usually has a much lower frequency than the "signal" wave...

Re: What is best to use to record Vinyl
Should have mentioned that I am using a desktop PC. So the question is still there - what gives best quality. That's a bit like asking if French cars are better than German cars - it depends what you get. There are some excellent PCI sound cards, and excellent USB sound cards. There are also some r...

Re: getting music to windows media player
"Audacity Project" are not compatible with Windows Media Player, or any other media player. WAV files that are Exported from Audacity are standard "Microsoft PCM WAV" files and are compatible with Windows Media Player and just about every other media player that exists today. Aud...

Re: Memory bug in SuSE Audacity 2.0.3-80.7.i586 package
Thanks for letting us know - I'm glad that you managed to resolve the issue.
It may be worth reporting the issue to SUSE (or the maintainer of that package, depending on what provision they have for bug reports). Hopefully they will be able to fix it for future releases.
