Re: snd-xform BUG!!
Very interesting. I tried the first example [with (result (sum t3 t2 t1))] in Nyquist, and I get the same results whether I sum t1 t2 t3 or t3 t2 t1. I'd be curious if you find the same thing, or I just did something wrong. I used (setf s (scale 0.25 (hzosc 100))) before the code to set s and I use...

Re: Unable to open target file for writing
Never put anything in Windows - Program Files. That's a sensitive folder. Except for things that should be there, such as the Audacity program files. (by default, Audacity is installed into Program Files). "User files" (those files that you create) need to go into your "user space&qu...

Re: Audacity 2.0.3
What I'm wanting to do is digitize music from old 45's and LP's using my turntable and convert to MP3's. It's relatively straightforward and I have the Behringer U-Phono UFO202 hardware, but it's useless unless I have the software, such as, Audacity. Hope that helps. I was suggesting that you try r...

Re: Regular Interval labels ignores , as decimal separator
This does not look right. Save this code to a file in your plug-ins folder and give it a .ny file extension (If you're using Firefox, take care that spaces are not added before any of the header lines). Apply the effect "!A Test" (default locale). What is going on with Control 2, why is it...

It might be worth testing that. Finding out whether Windows Sound Recorder can record will show if there is a major problem with the sound card or drivers.Gale Andrews wrote:If you want to record, you can do so with Windows Sound Recorder, assuming that does not error.

Re: Popmute mute level looses fractional part.
I think that you may be seeing a bug that has recently been noticed affecting the slider controls in Nyquist plug-ins.
Could you give step-by-step details of exactly how to reproduce the issue?
Are you using a British keyboard and an English installation of Ubuntu?

Please would you do the following:
1) Launch Audacity
2) Help menu > Audio Device Info"
3) Copy the "info" from the window that appears and paste it into your reply.
Also, what settings do you currently have, and what other settings are available in the Device Toolbar?

Re: Best Process to Convert these Files
You could try SUPER by erightsoft http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html
There are lots of adverts and you have to jump through hoops on multiple pages to download it, but it is free and it can probably batch convert your SWF files to WAV or MP3.
