Re: You can separate a subliminal audio files?

One technique that might work . Import the file into Audacity (File menu > Import) Effect menu > Nyquist Prompt Copy and Paste the code below into the Nyquist Prompt text box, then click the OK button (defun ssb-demodulator (sound) (highpass8 (lowpass8 (s-max 0 sound) 3000) 300)) (scale 5 (multichan...

Re: Using Audacity on headless linux boxes

Audacity can run without a monitor, but you will run into a lot of problems. Audacity is designed as a graphical application and there are very few command line options. Re: Gradual desync introduced with long recordings

I have part of an answer. The file is faulty, possibly due to a problem in FFMpeg, or possibly due to dropped frames (not intentional ones) in the original video recording. The file information states that the duration is 52 minutes 44 seconds, but SoX, avconv, FFMpeg, VLC, mplayer and Audacity all ...

Re: Gradual desync introduced with long recordings

Did any of you try opening or examining the mp4 audio file I linked above? Downloading from 4shared requires logging in, but I don't have an account and I do not find their TOC acceptable. If you can upload the file to somewhere that it can be downloaded without the requirement to log in then I'll ...

Re: Removing clapping from an audio recording

There is some applause in the background during the performance in between...but it is more like the kind in sitcoms - recorded clap and jeer... it fades in and out. I'd guess that you are stuck with it. Individual claps can be suppressed to some extent, and quiet, constant background hiss can be r...

Re: NB: Given Aud. projec files from concert, need to open t

I apologize for not reading the manuals or doing an extensive search on this forum, but I really only need to do this once, and then I'm back to my old software. I don't think that we can fix this without going into detail about how Audacity manages projects - You appear to have a "broken"...
