It's quite easy to see which part of the recording is talking and which part is music - I have labelled this example: tracks000.png To remove the music sections, just select a section that is music, then delete it. I suspect there is more to your question.
Recording when minimised is not recommended because if you run other software it may interfere with the recording and you will not know that something has gone wrong until you un-minimise Audacity.
What are you trying to do?

Ensure that Skype or other voip software is not running (not even in the background). Check your sound system settings in the Windows Sound Control Panel . How are you monitoring? here are your headphones plugged in?
Are you playing the keyboard "live", or is the song pre-recorded in the keyboard?
