Re: problem with SAL
The first thing is that you don't use "return" in LISP syntax. Functions always return the last result of the function. define function fm(p, a, c-m, mod-ratio) This is the start of the function. The name of the function is fm and the arguments (parameters) are " p, a, c-m and mod-rat...

Re: Batch Processing Audio
MP3 export in Chains will export with whatever encoding settings were used last. So, for example, if you want to use MP3 export with a bit rate of 256 kbps, then before you start the natch process, manually export a file as 256 kbps MP3. MP3 export will remain at 256 kbps until you change it. Thank ...

Re: Editing music - End and Begining
There is only ever one "tool" enabled at a time. If you enable the "Selection tool" then the Zoom tool will no longer be selected. To enable the Selection tool, press the F1 key.
Re: recording
Audacity can only record from one device at a time, so unless you are somehow able to aggregate them into one device (I don't think that is possible on Windows) then you will be limited to recording from one device at a time. Set the number of channels in Device Toolbar .
Re: recording
Only if you have a 16 channel sound card that is compatible with Audacity.

Re: Editing music - End and Begining
That magnifying glass just stays there. I clicked the white magnifying glass and I clicked the +magnifying glass but there's no shut off valve! You have enabled the "Zoom tool". You need to switch back to the normal "Selection tool". See here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/ma...

Re: Export Multiple 5.1 channel
if there's a routine to pick up two tracks (to export multiple stereo regions), shouldn't it be relatively easy to extend it to 6? Probably not. The Audacity "audio track" format supports mono or stereo tracks. Multi-channel export is achieved by mapping channels in the Audacity Project t...

Re: recording an octave higher
I am using the most recent Au update I hope you are not. The most recent version of Audacity is "Audacity 2.0.4-alpha (r12388)", which is an alpha version and not intended for production work. Please just have a quick look in "Help > About Audacity" and let us know which version...

Re: Silent Subliminals without background
Raphael, I think you may be referring to the patented Lowery "Silent Subliminal" process. There are many knock-off scripts floating around but I don't believe that you'll be able to create your tracks with audacity (someone correct me if I'm wrong) There is a plug-in for Audacity that is ...

Strange.
Where did you get FFMpeg from and how did you install it?
Also, please check the Audacity version number in "Help > About Audacity".
