Re: Behringer UCA202 Input Level too low
Consider plugging the turntable directly into your "mic" input. That will sound very thin / tinny. As well as boosting the signal level, a phono pre-amp also applies RIAA equalization that boosts the bass and reduces the level by precise amounts (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RIAA_equaliz...

Re: Creating an Audio book
Audiobooks are usually in MP3 format, but you should also keep backup copies in WAV format . Different publishers have slightly different requirements, but most will accept work that meets the specifications laid out by Amazon / ACX. I'd recommend taking some time reading through the ACX requirement...

Re: No audio when opening saved AUP file
As I feared, all of the data blocks are silent. There is no audio data at all, so nothing that can be recovered.
Did you make this recording recently, or is it an older project?

Re: Boosting game dialog volume
Is there a way to selectively boost just the in game dialog without boosting the rest For a recording that you have already made, probably not. You could use the Envelope Tool to selectively raise the level of the parts where there is only in-game dialog. For new recordings, I'd recommend recording...

Re: No audio when opening saved AUP file
Thanks.
The AUP looks OK.
Do you also have the folder "Ep1_data"?
If so, what is it's total size?

Re: Clean up old computer audio cassette
However, in some places the audio is dirty and I want to know how to fix it. I don't think that is "audio". It appears to be "data". If I recall correctly, the BBC micro could store data on floppy disk or cassette tape. These "recordings" appear to be such data. I thin...

Re: No audio when opening saved AUP file
I recorded it using the rodecaster. Everything DID record and blue waves were there - I was in the middle of editing and then saved the project to grab lunch and spend time with my daughter. Closed the application thinking the whole project was saved. Then I opened up the saved aup file and that's ...

Re: C2766 explicit specialization; 'std::hash<wxString>'
It's been too long since I built 2.2.2 to recall details, but a few tips: 1. Follow all of the instruction in the the Windows build.txt file exactly. 2. Ensure that you use the version of MSVC specified in the build.txt 3. Ensure that you use the version of WxWidgets specified in the build.txt 4. En...

Re: Multiple USB Microphones in a single recording.
That becomes the "right" one and the other one may drift off time. I've not tested extensively, but on modern Macs, "Aggregate Device" appears to do a pretty good job of keeping the devices synchronized. I think what it is doing is checking the real time for each block of sample...
