If I understand you right I can record via Microphone or Line In as things stand now, but not through Audacity? You should be able to record with Audacity via Microphone or Line-in if you plug something in (such as a microphone into the microphone socket). You can not record "Stereo Mix" ...

I don't see any mention of Cygwin, so my guess is that you will be on your own with that. Do you really need to use Cygwin?

There are times when I want the full 128 sample range and others when a much shorter selection will give a more "accurate" repair. I don't often use "Repair" but I can well imagine that could be the case, for example if there is a click very close to a transient peak. So how abo...

What sort of "glitch" are you looking for?
"Clicks" can often be seen as a vertical red line when looking closely at the track spectrogram view. http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/tr ... tml#spgram
