comma as decimal separator

A recent bug fix in the Audacity development code (2.0.5 alpha) enables comma as the decimal separator when appropriate to the locale (for example German localization). However, for Nyquist plug-ins this only affects slider widgets. If numerical data is entered in a text widget, then Nyquist reads i...

Re: File too big for 80 minute CDR

The Windows cd burning tool shows "disc filled", yet in "properties" it shows as empty. What is this "Windows cd burning tool" that you are using? If it is "Windows Media Player" then that could be the problem/ Windows Media Player is not good for burning aud...

Re: Blue Yeti and listening while recording [SOLVED]

Start > Control Panel > Sound > Speakers - 3- USB Advanced Audio Device > Properties > Levels > Microphone > Turn off Mute. Thanks fo...

Re: GUI: Can we see steps instead of ramp (on zoom)

I mean you look at the waves and the points are joined by straight lines, which is not the reality at all e...

Re: Importion Audio from LiveScribe wifi pen to Audactiy

Sorry, we do not support Lightscribe.
If you are able to export from Lightscribe in WAV format then it can be imported into Audacity by selecting "File menu > Import > Audio".

Re: Splitting a track.

I want to split it into individual tracks so when burned to a disc you can skip between tracks. To do that you need to split the recording into separate files, one for each CD track, then use your CD burning software to compile the CD using the individual files. Splitting the track is documented he...

Re: Sample Rate and Bit Depth Question

Should I just check best quality on each of these? No. Leave them at the default settings. Yes, I am recording with the Master Fader App. All the recordings I've done on it so far were at 44.1 and 16bit. I want the highest quality recordings possible. Since the Master Fader App and mixer give me th...
