For an Audacity project, you need the ".AUP" project file, and the project's "_data" folder

Do you have the AUP file and _data folder for each of the projects?

Why do you split stereo to mono?

VST effects are rarely used on Linux. They are native to Windows.
For Linux you could look for "LV2" effects.
