No, Audacity does not do that.
What you really need is surveillance recording software. Google will come up with several possible programs.

Re: Automatic removal of mouth smacks
Would eq-band be a good choice to implement filtering of selected regions? I have used eq-band for similar effects with good success, but like Robert I vaguely recall there being some unexpected behaviour that make it a bit tricky to use. Sorry I don't remember the details of that - I'll post if it...

Re: Delete extraneous labels
Ah, I see. Just another unaccessible item. Of course a "right click menu" is not accessible. If you don't use a pointing device with a right click then you can't right click, but that is no reason to not have right click menus. The "commands" ARE accessible. I quoted shortcut se...

Re: Understanding the progress indicator
The progress indicator for Nyquist effects is an approximation but Audacity is not really aware of what Nyquist is doing. For effects, Audacity looks at the length in samples and guesses how long Nyquist will take. Depending on what Nyquist is doing Audacity may be able to check the progress part wa...

Re: Track Drop-down Menu commands
Mono, Left Channel, Right Channel and Swap Channels are all about assigning virtual channels to physical speaker positions whereas the other commands are about joining and splitting tracks. Moreover, it looks better because you'll have 3 items with "Channel(s)" at the end and 2 items with...

Re: Delete extraneous labels
I count 4 items (Name, Font, Move Track Up, Move Track Down) waxcylinder is referring to the "right click on label" menu which has the options "Cut, Copy, Paste" for the label text. These are equivalent to using Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V. The proposed right-click menu item should b...

Re: Track Drop-down Menu commands
I would move the entry "Swap Stereo Channels" one up, just after Mono, Left and Right. I think the order is OK as it is, because you cannot swap stereo channels until you make stereo track, but let Steve decide. My reasoning for placing it where I did is that the options "Mono, Left ...

Re: Printing an audacity menu
You can, but it will be extremely time consuming as there are over 200 pages and you will only be able to print them out one at a time. Best thing is, if you installed Audacity from the recommended Windows installer, you will have the manual installed. When you need to look something up, do so from ...
