That depends on the sample rate. At the default 44100 Hz, 1000 samples is about 23 ms.Paul L wrote:if I do, with "short" selections of say 5 to 20 ms but that's not under 1000 samples.

Re: amplification des basses
Bass Boost by Nasca Octavian Paul was built into old versions of Audacity. It was not a plug-in so it is not possible to use the old effect with new versions of Audacity. Unfortunately "Preview" is not currently available in Nyquist plug-ins. Built-in effects are usually translated into ma...

Re: Automatic removal of mouth smacks
Experiment with the sr parameter, You'll get at best a single nasty click at the beginning. Ah yes, it's coming back to me now. :P For very short selections (up to about 1000 samples) a sample rate the same as the sound should work without nasty clicks. For longer selections, *control-srate* should...

For the start of the track, use Ctrl+Mouse Wheel to zoom in a bit anywhere on the track, then press the Home button to move to the start of the track.WeirDave wrote:The Ctrl + mouse doesn't rally work for teh start of the track

Re: Auto Labels
Perhaps the "Sound Finder" tool will do the job (Analyze menu) http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/silence_finder_and_sound_finder.html#sound The slider range for "Label Starting Point" and "Label Ending Point" only go up to 1 second, but you can type bigger values int...

Re: Zoom Indicator and Saved Spot
Not exactly what you are asking for, but this is how I do similar tasks. 1) Ctrl+F (Zoom to fit the entire recording) 2) Eyeball the approximate position for the next label and click on the track at that point. 3) Ctrl+Mouse Wheel to zoom in on the place that I clicked. This can take a little practi...

Re: How to Save Multiple Tracks without Mixing
Two ways:
1) Select one track and use "File > Export Selection" to export that track. Repeat the process for the other track.
2) Use "File > Export Multiple". See here for details: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/ex ... tiple.html
