Re: Stereo to Mono
Actually, if I may ask a follow-up question on this topic? Normally we prefer "follow up questions" to be as a separate topic. It makes it easier for us to keep track of what the question is about, and it is easier for people that are searching the forum looking for answers. In this case ...

Re: Input level
There is a small red socket on the side of the laptop and that's where I plugged the cable in. On a lot of laptops the only audio input is a microphone socket. Microphone inputs are unsuitable for anything other than connecting a microphone because they are too sensitive and usually mono. When you ...

In Audacity, use the recording input setting in the device toolbar . Depending on your set-up you ma...

Re: How to work with equalizer
If I have a track that I want to equalize, I usually want to mark a representative small section of the recording, then I start the Equalizer, then I shape the eq curve until it sounds good. But I only have marked a small section, not the whole track. So now I have to save the curve Don't save the ...

Re: recording
You need a sound card that has "stereo, line level inputs". I don't know if your Acer laptop has that or not. Some laptops only have a "mono microphone" input. If your laptop has a stereo, line level input, then you will need a "2 x CRA to stereo mini-jack" lead to conn...

No, but comments in the code say that it is "Least Squares AutoRegressive Interpolation".Paul L wrote:Is the algorithm of Repair documented somewhere in Wiki?
I think it would probably be extremely slow.Paul L wrote:ould it be done in Lisp too with reasonable efficiency?

Re: Automatic removal of mouth smacks, again
Here's a synthetic glitch that is of the type often caused by bad editing (around the middle of this audio clip) bad-edit.wav This is possibly a worst case scenario for the repair part of the plug-in, but the detection part picks up the glitch beautifully, Run the detection part of your effect with ...
