I don't see how that is relevant (other than that you are probably breaching copyright).uhesltj wrote:Here's the stream that I'm recording. . . .

Is that a USB microphone or does it plug into the small round "mic in" socket?Timscape wrote:My microphone is a stock, Logitech computer microphone.
If the latter, is your computer a laptop of full size computer and are you sure that it is plugged into the right hole?

Re: Converting Linear PCM 24 bit 48 kHz recordings?
I don't understand why the file is called "sinewave-raw-8bit-unsigned-pcm.wav" when it is a signed file. Because I named it incorrectly. The first version that I made was indeed "unsigned integer" but then I changed it to "signed integer" but forgot to change the name....

Re: Choppiness and Skips appear at 6:45:47 in Long Recording
2^30 samples at 44100 Hz sample rate works out as 6:45:47.887165533
That must be too close to be a coincidence.

Re: Choppiness and Skips appear at 6:45:47 in Long Recording
Yes, it is a Windows 8 Pro 64-bit platform, and I'm using 44100 internal sample rate. 6 hours 45 minutes and 47 seconds at 44100 samples per second is almost exactly 2^30 samples (in binary that is 0100 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000), which seems like more than a coincidence. I don't see an ob...

Re: record audio file from a dvd
Assuming that the DVD is not copy protected, you should be able to import the audio from the VOB files if you have FFmpeg installed. See here for installing FFmpeg: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#ffdown When you have FFmpeg installed, copy the VOB files from ...
