What happens if you select from 6:46:00 to 6:47:00 and export that as a WAV file using "Export Selected"? Is there choppiness in the exported file?

The choppiness is not heard at all while making the recording. It's only after I finish the recording and then play it back that it appears at 6:45:47. That isn't going to work because it is expecting a digital signal not a microphone.
It seems strange that there is no analogue input listed.
From the Help menu, select "Audio Device Info" and copy the output into your reply.
