Re: Regular Interval Region Labels
That relates to my post to -quality about the [email protected] user who could not find how to split at silences. He was expecting it in a "Tools" menu. We agree about that :) I think the "final version" should let you number from a negative number to a positive. If the feature is being...

Re: Need Help Fixing Clipping
Here is a very brief (one second) sample of a problem section that I've been trying to repair: http://www.hollyhouse.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/Helichrysum-sample.wav Might anyone provide me some tips on whether this is fixable and, if so, how to go about it? The "High Pass Filter" ca...

Re: Upper length bar playback problem
It might be a reasonable compromise to have grabbing of the end of the play region only when "Play Region > Lock" is enabled ?
Re: Recording
Hi The problem is it starts recording before i can get to the keyboard In that case it is the reverse of what I said - the background noise level is at about the same level as the activation level. As you say that this problem has suddenly started, I'm wondering if your recording input has changed....

Re: Changing Speed - Out of Tune?
Some people have "perfect pitch". What that means is that they are so accustomed to standard A440 tuning that they can recognise precisely what note is being played with reference to nothing more than their trained ear. This is rare. For the vast majority of people the important thing is h...
Re: Recording
The way that I would do it is to not bother with sound activated recording. I'd just press the record button, then start playing, and trim off the excess lead-in when I finish. There is always a danger when using sound activated recording for music that quiet passages can fall below the threshold le...

Re: Glitch in Spectrum Analysis
How odd :? I've had a look in the code and I think that I can see where it is coming from. There is a note in the file FreqWindow.cpp // If f(0)=y0, f(1)=y1, f(2)=y2, and f(3)=y3, this function finds // the degree-three polynomial which best fits these points and // returns the value of this polynom...

Re: Cannot Export-Multiple Just One Selected Track
I had recorded a tape that had a sequence of one type of recordings followed by a sequence of another type of recordings. I split the original track at their junction with the second half put in a new track. I then edited and labeled all with one label track. Yes you can do what you wanted to do, b...

Re: Regular Interval Region Labels
Are these use cases smallish numbers? There are not that many mentions of Regular Interval Labels at all, though I did note one comment that one user was surprised when he was shown it in the Analyze menu, saying that he had not looked there and did not see what it had to do with "analyzing&qu...
